Removing Glamcam and Event Voiceovers

Has anyone had any luck removing the glamcams or event voiceovers? I tried editing out some key events from the DefaultNarrative.ini but that just seemed to make the game forget that those events occurred, so it would repeat the voice dialog every time one of those events occurred, opposite of what I intended! I also tried commenting out the glamcams section of DefaultEngine.ini and that didn't seem to have any effect (it worked for the intro movies!). There's a glamcam section in DefaultMaps.ini but my gut tells me to leave that one alone.
