DJsandman308 Posted October 22, 2019 Share Posted October 22, 2019 Im having an issue where the interior of the museum of freedom is completely washed in fake lighting. Even blood splatters are silver as if there is light shining on to them. This seems to be ONLY in the museum of freedom there is no such fake light in other interiors as far as I can tell. Ive gone into the other interior cells in Concord, the sanctuary cellar, and of course the vault and all those interiors are fine. G4M3W1NN3R Posted October 22, 2019 Share Posted October 22, 2019 Enhanced Lights and FX would be the only mod that would affect lighting in said area, so it could be the cause (i know said mod definitely affects the museum of freedom, however whever it is the cause of the fake light is unknown, but it is the only mod i recognize that definitely affects said interior.). also are you running an ENB, as their is an option to disable fake lights. i have not extensively tested Enhanced Lights and Fx, as it completely killed my FPS when i entered Museum of Freedom. so i cannot confirm if it is indeed said mod, as i will immediately delete a mod if it heavily effects my performance as soon as i notice, which in this instance i noticed it immediatly upon entering the Museum and as such immediately closed the game and deleted the mod. its a shame as i do love the enhancement that mods offers, but performance is incredibly important to me and likewise always comes first over everything else. i know for a fact that ELFX does add new light sources. DJsandman308 Posted October 22, 2019 Author Share Posted October 22, 2019 I have found the issue. I had run the "No godrays while keeping volumetric lights" script on my weathers. Upon digging around a bit Ive found out that there is a specific weather entry called ConcMuseumWeather which is kinda crazy but seeing as the problem was so specific to that location the fact that there is a specific entry for it has to mean thats the culprit. G4M3W1NN3R Posted October 22, 2019 Share Posted October 22, 2019 i definitely would not of a thought a weather mod could be the cause. especially as weather mods should not be touching light sources. at least not the ones i am familiar with. but with that said you could try deleting that entry in F04Edit, but only if its added via a mod. be sure to backup your mods just incase. i have been running True Storms for a very long time and have never had said issue, so i cant imagine it being the cause. but with that said it could be conflict. DJsandman308 Posted October 24, 2019 Author Share Posted October 24, 2019 In the end it actually seems to have been related to enhanced flickering firelight I was able to recreate it with a clean install. Enabling and disabling that mod switched it on and off. Its very strange that it only caused that problem in the one location.
