SuperPiggeh778
I'n looking at getting a new PC and wondering if these specs are enough to run skyrim and/or fallout 4 on high/ultra settings with quite a few graphics mods installed. These are the specs of the one I'm currently leaning towards: Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GhzNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6G500G SSD4 GB Graphics Card RAM3000 MHz Memory Speed500GB DDR4 RAM
HeyYou
I run both games on a 1060 6gb, and the 1660 looks to be about 20-25% better. It won't be an issue. :D 500 GB Ram??? Is that built on a server motherboard?
goranpaa
Looks good. But I would suggest the GTX 1660 TI instead. It's faster ( About as fast as the GTX 1070 ) and you will have 6 gb of DDR 6 VRAM instead, wich have a higher bandwith. So the GTX 1660 TI are a little bit more future proof. If you stiick to 2K mods and use Beth ini tool to fine tune the ini files you are good to go.I my self have the Ryzen 1600X and a 1660 TI, and i have an average of 57 - 60 FPS at exteriours on a heavy modded game + Rudy Enb. Mostly at high settings. Edited October 28, 2019 by goranpaa
MadeUpName92
I run FO4 heavily modded with a 980ti 6gb @2k with an average 58fps. (there's always those trouble spots with too many light sources). The vid card does not make the PC. You can put a ferrarri engine in a yugo and it will still be a POS. Same with PC's. You need to learn what all the current technologies are and make sure all the parts will work smoothly together. The biggest single factor is the FSB speed of the mother board. The 2nd would be the bandwidth of the memory controller. You don't even list a Mobo. You throw expensive parts on the wrong Mobo and you'll join the ranks of those complaining on steam that every new title is "not optimized".
