Bug - Load savegame when Buffout is active

This is happening with my current playthrough. I save my game when Buffout is active. Upon exiting and restarting the game, my carry capacity drops from 270 to 210 and my strength is now 1-. My active effects show the Buffout and no bad effects. Even after Buffout wears off, it stays the same.

 

I did not get any notification of being addicted, nor does that show in my effects screen.

 

I am forced to go back to previous saves until the problem goes away.

 

The only mod that touches Buffout is YUP.

 

I am stumped.

Tried to sleep and do everything I can think of. Nothing works. My strength stays at (1-) and my carry weight is stuck at 210 (from 280).

 

Buffout wears off - no change

Pop another Buffout - no change

Sleep, wait, visit doc, use auto-doc - no change

 

The minus on the strength indicates something is modifying it, yet there are no addictions or other effects showing.

 

Is it just me? No one else ever reported this?

No change. I disabled Unofficial Patch NVSE.esp and the bug didn't occur.

 

EDIT: I updated that mod to its latest version, and the bug went away. Weird, since that mod doesn't touch Buffout.
