xXKurumu Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 (edited) When ever I ride anytime I go over something like a rock or a hill it jumps and glides. Depending on how high I am depends on how long it glides for. Some times I can get it to stop gliding and it will rock back and forth as it falls to the ground. Anytime an animal runs off a cliff it seems to glide as well. I hate it so much because I have a nasty habit of going over cliffs and such. I do love riding the horses but they just don't seem to fall properly at all. Another problem i have with my horse is that it sinks into the ground when I ride up hills and sometimes when I'm just riding it. Are you running the latest version of Skyrim through steam?Also, what mods are you using? (especially mods affecting horses, creatures and followers) Have you run BOSS to check your load order and addressed any messages in the log file BOSS generates?Are the mods you are using the correct version for your game (E.g. compatible for DG if you have it, and not requiring a DLC or mod you do not have) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

These are the mods I am currently using. Georgiegril Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 Okay, no worries, everyone is new sometime. BOSS is Better Oblivion Sorting Software. I recommend you install the version with the installer and then run BOSS GUI. You download it just like a regular program; it's not a mod. using the version with the installer makes the process very simple. Once you have it installed, just open BOSS GUI make sure the update masterlist and view logfile options are checked (text format better than html, it makes it wasy to copy/paste to a post if you need to).Click HERE to get to the BOSS website. The downloads are on the left side.After running BOSS read the log carefully. If there are any messages or errors, you will need to fix them.Also, at the bottom are any mods that BOSS doesn't recognize. You will need to order them yourself, using the NMM plugin page and the arrows (or drag-and-drop). Often you can just put the unrecognized mods with similar mods that have been sorted (so armor mods together, etc) As I see you have a very old version of NMM, I would recommend you update that first. It is very simple. When you open NMM you should be getting a message to update? Just click to accept, download, close the old version and install. You wont loose your mods; they will be there for you when you open the new version. Doing those two things may solve your problems....if not post back.
