They need to be placed in the correct folders or they won't work Extract the files to your desktop. exanimis Posted November 7, 2008 Share Posted November 7, 2008 If you are putting them in the correct folders, and activating the esp then it should be working, if not you may want to try downloading and reinstalling the mod. The only answers to this is A: the modder didn't include the meshes or textures which doesn't seem likely or B: You're still installing them wrong. Try following this STEP by step. Unzip the mod to a temporary location. (aka: NOT the Oblivion folder)Open up the unzipped folder and note it's contents. Generally they're set up in a few different ways, but two are the most common. The path might look like ModFolder->Data OR just ModFolder and the mod folder itself will contain the Meshes/Texture folders and the ESP. If the latter is the case copy ALL of the files into your Oblivion Data directory and when it asks to merge the folders say YES, otherwise it will not work. If the former is the case and you have a Data folder inside of the mod folder then simply open up the Data folder and follow the steps outlined above. Again, say YES when it asks to merge folders. (I think it actually asks to overwrite the folders but in reality it's merging) Either way, if it's a folder that windows is asking about SAY YES! Just say yes. If that doesn't help or I didn't explain it clearly enough let me know and I'll clarify or download the mod myself and poke around to see if I can find an error. Edit: Took a quick look at the mod and noticed the author mentioned about lacking a world mesh. This doesn't relate to your problem (since your issue is when you equip the items) DO NOT DROP THEM or the items will be invisible. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
