How do I convert a vanilla outfit to Breeze?

I know that Fallout 4 has bodyslide for this type of stuff, but does anyone know how to covert an outfit mod to work with a body mod, such as Breezes or Type3? I've tried looking this stuff up on the internet, but could only find tutorials for Fallout 4's Bodyslide.

There is an effort to port "Bodyslide" to FNV, but otherwise you will have to do so manually. Please see the "Armor and Clothes" section of the wiki "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article.

Bodyslide mods for FNV:

* CBBE-NV Balanced Body has links to Bodyslide for FO4 and the CBBE Body.

* CurvyGal CBBE Preset for New Vegas has links to "CBBE New Vegas Port (By A.J., CBBE originally made by Caliente)".

* Robert Male Body BodySlide Conversion has very basic information which indicates "you don't need this conversion [CBBE Conversion for New Vegas by A.J] for RM Bodyslide to work, latest OS+BS worked perfect for me out of the box, but it's nice to have bodyslide for girls too."

* Type3 Cali for BodySlide uses the "Type 3 Cali" body as a basis.

I did not find a Bodyslide for "Breezes Male Body", but expect it would be a "pre-set" created in a very similar manner to that of the "Roberts Male Body". Every one of those mods appears to use the FO4 version of Bodyslide so it's tutorial should apply. However, I am not a modeller and can't help beyond this.

Bodyslide was not around when most FNV mods were made. The way outfits have been typically converted to another body type in FNV is through the use of a 3d modeling program like Blender or 3ds Max. These programs require specific versions in order to work properly. See the links in the article "Getting started creating mods using GECK" that Dubious linked to above.

If the body types use the same skeleton (armature), then the easiest thing to do is open two windows in NifSkope, one with the outfit and its existing body and another with the body type that you want to convert to. Generally you can go in either direction, but sometimes NifSkope is a bit finicky. Either copy all of the clothing and armor bits from the outfit nif to the body nif, or delete the human body parts from the clothing/armor nif and copy the body from the other window to it. Either way, you should end up with the clothing and armor bits on the new body type.

Chances are they won't fit properly.

Now, after saving that modified nif, open it in your 3d modeling program, and adjust the clothing meshes to fit over the new body type. Make sure to leave enough room so that nothing clips when things move around in-game. There may be a little trial and error with that. You will also probably want to remove all of the unseen human body bits so that they can't clip through and to save your computer a little bit of processing time when rendering the nif. For example, if you are copying over long pants, boots, and a T-shirt, you can't see the human body parts under the pants, boots, and torso. Only the human arms are visible, so delete all of the human body parts except for the arms.

Export your nif, adjust the shader flags in NifSkope, and place your new clothing/armor into the GECK.

If the clothing and body type do not use the same skeleton (armature), then it gets a bit more difficult since you need to unparent the clothing from the armature and re-rig it to the new skeleton. You won't be able to copy bits from one nif to the other in NifSkope since the skeletons don't match.
