markusliberty
Hey, i have been trying out the mod called "elsweyr the deserts of anequina" the problem is related to view distance. http://www.flickr.com/photos/62334159@N07/8100691540/sizes/h/in/photostream/as you can see, this is very immersion breaking, how do i install the mod so that i can se all of Elsweyr and none of the original randomly generated landscape? dubiousintent
Have you regenerated your LOD files since adding Elsweyr? Suggest reading the TESTG page on LOD/VWDs. -Dubious-
markusliberty
I tried downloading something called TES4LODGen, someone said that would help. but after running it nothing changed. what confuses me is that i cant seem to find anyone with the same problem, am i the only one who don't understand how to get this mod right? Hickory
Did you install the DistantLOD folder that comes with Anequina?
markusliberty
Thats the thing, i dont know where to place it. so i just placed the LOD in the data folder. i did some experimenting and when i remove the distance LOD completely nothing changes on the mod, so thats probably the problem. where should i put the Distance LOD? Hickory
You placed it correctly, in the Data folder -- that's where almost everything goes with Oblivion. Have you tried deleting your Oblivion.ini file and restart the game from the launcher? Back up your .ini first, though. Remember, run it from the launcher the first time, so that the game re-detects your hardware. I say this in case your .ini has been tweaked, and is not showing distant objects correctly. markusliberty
it shows distance Object now, but now distant textures, so the whole desert looks like a large green field from far offDeleting the INI also re added the borders making it impossible for me to enter the mod area Edited October 19, 2012 by markusliberty
Hickory
It sounds to me like you have a texture replacer overwriting Anequina's.
markusliberty
I don't use any mods, except for DoA. gha, this is annoying, perhaps there is something wrong with the version i downloaded from Dark Creationsthanks for helping me out :) Edited October 20, 2012 by markusliberty
