Skyrim on Laptop: i5-3210 + 640m?

Recommended Posts

Hallo,

I am going to buy a new laptop soon and it is going to cost around 700 Euro. I want to play Skyrim with this laptop at 40 fps on medium with a lot of mods (ENB + Quest + Player Homes + Character enhancement + Armor mods + Weapon mods enz.). I know that a lot of these mods won't have any fps inpact, but some (like the ENB) will. So I am asking you: Will I be able to run Skyrim at medium/high settings with a lot of mods at 40 fps with a MSI CX70-0ND-014NL? And if I can't, which laptop would you pick?

This proves it can.

This would be a good alternative although 200 euro more expensive it has a gt650m and a full hd screen.

This is a review of the cx70, it is not very positive because seems to struggle to lose the heat.

Is this really bad for my hardware and has this got influence on performance?

Cause if it just gets hot, it isn't really a big problem. Because the laptop that I have now shows CPU temperatures around 50 C when I am just internetting!

And I didn't really understood about the stress test, what is this actually? And for normal gaming, am I going to notice it?

I'm sorry for my Enlish.
