Player Dialogue Tab Help

How can I link topics in the Player Dialogue tab, instead of the Dialogue View tab? The latter keeps crashing the kit on me, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to connect a new topic to my dialogue branch. I've tried creating a new topic and giving it an info, but it's not showing up in game. I'm generating the SEQ file, and before the dialogue view tab starting crashing the kit, I managed to get many topics to show in game. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

In all honesty, I never bother with the dialogue view tab.

It's easy enough in the player dialogue tab, as long as you have a clear idea in your head as to which topic needs to be linked.

When you're in the player dialogue, double-click on the 'info' that you want to link.

The next dialogue box will open. It's called 'Topic Info'

In the upper, right-hand portion of this form is a box with the titles 'Branch' and 'Topic'

Right-Click anywhere in this box and you'll be given the option to 'Add Link'

choose this.

When you do, another dialogue box will open.

This will display a list of all the topics that you can choose.

Pick one.

Okay it and job done.

Thank you again cumbrianlad! I had tried to use the "Link To" section before and it still wasn't working. But you made me confident to keep fiddling with it, and it turns out that I was trying to link the child to the parent node, which doesn't work. You have to link the parent node to the child node (just like in Dialogue View.) Had me stumped! What I was really doing was adding a child to an unlinked node, and so I wasn't seeing anything.

I'm going to avoid the Dialogue View tab too, it's very broken. I can't even remove the view in the creation kit because it crashes whenever I right or left click on it. Hopefully it's safe to remove it with SSEEdit.
