Xedit access violation - can't clean BS-Bruma heartland

I'm using xedit's quick auto cleaner feature and it works like a charm on my other mods, but then I get this whne I try to run it on Bsheartland.esm:

[00:03] Start: Applying Filter
[00:05] Error during Applying Filter: Access violation at address 0122722F in module 'SSEEdit.exe'. Read of address 00000000
[00:05] Quick Clean mode finished.
[03:03] Background Loader: finished

(this also appears as a popup box, preventing further interaction with xedit)

Nothing has worked to clean this. All other files, including skyrim core files like dawnguard, are cleanable (thank god)

this is what loot keeps reporting:
SSEEdit v4.0.2 found 514 ITM records. Due to Improvements made to the cleaning process with the official release of xEdit 4.0.x+, any mods which were verified as clean with older versions of xEdit may now require additional cleaning. A guide for running xEdit 4.0.x+ in Quick Auto Cleanmode can be found here.

I'm running SSEEdit 4.1.2c

If you only want stable builds, you can go into options and disable the "Check Github for updates" option. It is only checked by default if you downloaded a version from github or the discord in any case.

But yes, 4.1.2.C is labelled Extremely Experimental for a reason. There were significant fundamental changes made in preparation for eventual TES3Edit support (Morrowind's internal structure is completely different from newer games) and should only be used for testing the Morrowind support (right now it is just TES3View, no editing functionality yet). Once it is stable it will be released as xEdit 4.2.0.
