SKSE Insists It is Out of Date

Hello! Whenever I try to launch F4SE (either from Mod Organizer or via the F4SE launcher in the F04 Steam folder), I receive this message:

afe2d974106e7279272edd58a623a1a78e447bb9

I scoured the internet and found no one complaining about F4SE being out of date, so I assume that F4SE is not, in fact, out of date, and that I'm doing something wrong.

I've redownloaded F4SE from silverlock several times and followed the installation instructions explicitly. I have also tried disabling all of my mods and launching F4SE without any active plugins, and it still gives me the same message. I cannot begin to fathom what I'm doing wrong. If anyone has any ideas that might be of help, I would be greatly appreciative.

Thank you in advance!

Heyas Wandrin.

Per your screenshot, and per the F4se webpage, yes, it is out of date. Per your screenshot, you have version x.6.8, per the web page the current version is x.6.17

right click on your f4se_loader.exe file. It should be located directly in your installation folder for fallout. (Or at least that's where mine is.)

From the drop down tab, choose PROPERTIES. Then a window will open, there are tabs along the top of it, chose DETAILS. In that window, you will see a note that says PRODUCT VERSION.

If it doesn't read 0.0.6.17, then you have an outdated (very much so, at .8!) version of F4se.

If you're downloading from the link in my screenshot, I've just tested it, and it does download a file version x.x.17

Make sure you are downloading the correct version, from the official site. Also make sure that you are copying f4se_1_10_138.dll into your installation directory. If you have any older versions of that dll file in there, from this older version you are running, delete it.

Also, make sure that you are running the loader.exe as administrator, it will fail to load fallout4.exe if you don't.

Now. That said. You need to find your other thread that you posted that is exactly identical to this, where you'd received a reply. Click on the report button for that thread, and ask the staff to delete it. There is no sense in having the exact same post located in two different sections of these boards. It creates confusion, and unnecessary posting.
