Fresh Fallout 4 + DLC + Mods + Script Extender Install Crashing randomly

Hello guys, I am bummed out that the same problem that stopped me from finishing this amazing game more than 2 years ago is back to haunt me. I felt the old FO4 itch, and proceeded to reinstall the game after cleaning all the mods and different files (even the My Games\Fallout 4 folder). Then I installed Vortex and downloaded from scratch all the mods I wanted, installing and deploying through the application. Finally, I downloaded F4SE 0.6.17 and installed it. I set the load order to automatic on vortex. I also downloaded FO4 Edit 4.0.2 and used the FO4EditQuickAutoClean.exe to clean the DLC master files, one by one.

 

After all that, I am able to play the game and the mods are all working. Except that I get frequent and seemingly random crashes to desktop. Sometimes they take a long while, other times it happens 3 minutes into the game. I am very frustrated, and would like the help of the knowledgeable people here to pinpoint the issue. I am willing to part with any mod if it is deemed the culprit. Some technical specs below:

My drivers are updated, my Fallout4Custom.ini is edited, my antivirus has exceptions for both fallout4.exe and f4se_loader.exe and the vanilla game works just fine. Could anyone suggest a fix for my problem? Much appreciated!

FunctionalDisplays <-- 20+ CTD Reports just on the first 3 pages, and their is like 55 pages - ( as such i would class this mod Extremely Unsafe based on reports, strongly recommend deleting based on reports)

 

 

try removing that and see if the problem persists.

I will disable it and try out the game for a few minutes to test it. But if I was to uninstall it fully, what is the proper way of doing it without leaving traces/bloating behind?

you will need to start a new game, due to said mod containing scripts.

 

remove mod, start new game, in that order.

 

Deleting it from Vortex Should be Sufficiant.

 

however i dont use vortex, so i dont know if any additional steps are required, should not be the case.

I would check on that weapon naming mod (Better Armour and Weapon Naming). The one entry says all DLC's, the others say individual entries, so check if you only need the all DLC variant. Also the main Naming mod should be above the additions.
