"Back Engineering" a mod source file from the loaded content

A few months ago I downloaded/installed a mod that adds flowered trees to the rift. It has since been taken off nexus (and to the best of my knowledge) it's gone from the net at large.

It's installed...Works fine, no complaints... but if I were to do a rebuild on my Skyrim install, I don't have the compressed source any more (not that I ever did, I installed direct from Nexus via Nexus/Vortex)

Ideally, someone would post back..."Hey, no worries dude. I know exactly what you're talking about. Down load it (the flowered trees mod) from this neato archive site (some site link provided)" , but that's probably wishful thinking, so onto an alternative (potential) solution...

What I'm wondering is if it's possible/practical for me to collect and recompress the constituents into a personal archive I can use downstream to add this excellent mod back in later. In this case, I was hoping to "build" a group of environmental mods that I could swap in and out (using the enable/disable button in Vortex) for a "seasonal" feeling, skyrim-wide, rather than just based on altitude.

What I'm hoping for (ideally) in response is a general outline of what you (who have already encountered and theoretically solved) have done in situations like this, ie, rebuilding a mod that has been installed... back into an installable mod.

FTR, and just so no-one thinks I'm trying something douchy, I'm not looking to pirate or otherwise disrespect any mod author. But like I said to conserve the mod for my personal use. I'm already using it, I just want the ability to use it later, like I can for other mods where I was wise and patient enough to create a local archive of the work. (I have some issues with my install due to my ignorance early on that I'd kinda like to solve once and for all, by reinstalling from scratch and building it *right this time around....Or at least "righter")

Well...that's it. Thank you kindly for reading, and I hope some of you with experience and ideas will respond.

Oh...And if you happen to have a working link so I can download "Trees of the Rift Reborn - Riften Trees Reborn Pink Cherry Blossom 2", I'd be grateful if you would provide it.

if you used a mod manager then the zip file will be downloaded into the managers folders on your computer

Hey Doc,

Thanks for the quick reply and double thanks for providing the Vortex mod-install archive location. Had no idea. Perfect.

much appreciated prescription that "fits the ill". ;)

FWIW, in case anyone happens on this post alter (or now) and is trying to find their copy of the mod in question, it's archived in the Riften Trees Reborn Pink Cherry Blossom folder, wherever Nexus stores archived mods in your particular system, not under "Trees of the Rift Reborn - Riften Trees Reborn Pink Cherry Blossom 2"

On my system that location was
/(username)/AppData/Roaming/Vortex/skyrimse/mods/
PS> If anyone happens to use this mod, archived it while the site still had content, and happened to make themselves a "readme.txt" to store along with the source file (ie, has requirement, overview, etc) and would be willing to share it, I'd appreciate the thought (PM or open post, whatever works and doesn't violate the Nexus ToS) , since there are often goodies those descriptions spell out. TBH, I don't even remember the act of installing it, let alone if I had to install dependencies, etc.
