splung
Yo Can anyone offer some pointers on troubleshooting invisible meshes in a modded game. In my case, the problem extends to both male and female player and NPCs and affects a couple of vanilla outfits as well as a few modded ones too. This implies my issues are not caused by any one mod but I don't know how to go about hunting down the offending mod/s. Any guidance on how I might do about systematically routing out the problem mod would be greatly appreciated. x Edited November 5, 2019 by splung
G4M3W1NN3R
are we talking Outfits, or Body Meshes ? if we are talking Outfits, this is caused by invalid Biped Slots. Both the *Armor* Record Entry and *Armor Addon* Record Entry for any given Outfit Must Be the Same, if not they will make Whoever Equips the Outfit, Body Go Invisible when Equipped. Example: say an Outfit has Heels as part of it, this would require both its *Armor* Record Entry and *Armor Addon* Record entry use the *Body* Biped Slot. you can find out by loading all of your Outfits into F04Edit, and checking both the Armor Record Entry and Armor Addon Record entry to make sure they are using the Same Biped Slot heres a quick tutorial in doing just that: F04Edit Tutorial 1. on the main Plugin/Master Selection Window that Popups - Right click on any mod, and click on *Select None* 2. in the same window, Locate the Name of your Outfit - and tick the box next to it, then click on Ok 3. Once the Outfit has Finished Loading (Indicated by the message *Background Loader Finished*) - on the Left Pane Window - click on the Little Plus Sign next to the Outfit - Locate *Armor* Record Entry and click on the Plus Sign next to it. Note: Click on little plus sign basically means to Expand the Record Entry Section, so you can see the actual armor/clothing records Now Click on the Actual Armor Record Name for any Part of the Outfit - on the Right Pane Window Locate this: BOD2 Biped Slot Template - and Check what Biped Slot it is Using. 5. Now Click on the *Armor Addon* Record Entry, and Do the Exact Same as above If they do not match, Change the Armor Addon Record Entry Biped Slot to be the Exact Same as The Armor Record Entry Slot, to Do this Simply Right Click on the Biped Slot, and Tick the box matching the the Armor Record Entry Biped Slot. Note: "Actual Armor Record Name for any Part of the Outfit" basically if an outfit comes in multiple parts such as Gloves, Boots, Headgear, this statement basically means to click on the actual Outfit itself which will be whatever the author named their Outfit, in the Creation Kit.
