It changes the rules for container handling within the file, and it also changes the way that the game counts them against the load order. BUT at the same time, since they still have the esp flag, you can manage them in your load order like you can an esp. I don't want you to get super excited tho, because they do still have the same limitations, and drawbacks of ESL files. Especially the container and record count sorting. Which, "might" improve with the next released update from Bethesda, it may not. Gotta wait and see on that one. When I first heard of these, I did a search on yahoo for "esp flagged esl" and just started following links. Some of the reddit posts are good, others are complete wishful thinking. So take what you read with a big grain of salt. And pay attention to dates. The newer posts about it can be more reliable as people have gained more experience and knowledge of them.Again tho, the new update may blow a lot of this out of the water.
