Aleque
Hi I wish to take a break from Steam. For that I have to uninstall Skyrim as well. I've made backup of my savegames (700MB!). I have tons of mods installed via Nexus Mod Manager. 1). If I reinstall Skyrim some day, will I be able to load these savegames without all the mods installed? 2). Is there a way to create a backup of all the Skyrim mods within Nexus Mod Manager? So that if I decide to have all the same mods again, I don't have to find and install them 1 by 1 manually? Thanks in advance
Georgiegril
You can just make a copy of the nexus folder with your games downloaded (the zipped files are probably better, you will need to reactivate.) Probably C:/Games/NexusModManager/Skyrim/ModsHowever, if it is a while until you play again, you will probably be doing a lot of updating--your new Skyrim will be a later patch, probably, and your mods may or may not need updating to accommodate that.Likewise, your savegames may or may not function with the newer version. But it's worth a try, if you want....
Aleque
D:\Program Files\Nexus Mod Manager I tried looking here but there is nothing with Skyrim. Are you sure they aren't stored in another directory? I only found Skyrim.dll within D:\Program Files\Nexus Mod Manager\GameModes
Georgiegril
That wasn't the path I wrote. Follow the Games/ path I put in my previous post. It is not in the Program files.
