Script Extender thru Vortex causes black screen and CTD?

I've jumped back into Fallout 4 modding recently, and haven't been able to start the game using Script Extender through Vortex.

I started by installing Fallout 4 from Steam (fresh install, no mods) and launching through Steam works fine. I then installed some mods using Vortex, and installed F4SE and linked it in Vortex, and all seemed well, until I tried to launch the Script Extender in Vortex. What happened after was the game seemed to launch, but it skipped the opening movie (Bethesda logo, etc.) and jumped directly a black screen, save for the "press any button to continue" text at the bottom, and the normal main menu music played. This lasted for approximately 2-7 seconds, before crashing and closing with no error message. Launching the Fallout4.exe directly works, and launching F4SE.exe directly works as well, albeit with no mods, which defeats the purpose. The only thing that causes this issue is launching F4SE through Vortex, which is conveniently the only way to get the mods to work properly. I have tried as many different things as I could think of to solve this, and I'll list the ones I can remember here:

-Installed older versions of Fallout 4 through SteamDB

-installing older versions of F4SE

-disabling and uninstalling all mods

-enabled compatibility mode (Windows 7) for Fallout 4, the script extender, and Vortex

I've tried every imaginable combination of these possible solutions to no avail. I'm currently on an MSI GS63VR 7RF, running Windows 10, and I haven't run into these problems ever before, after modding FO4 (with script extender and Vortex) two years ago with no issue, and modding Skyrim (with script extender and Vortex) with no issues like this either. Like I said, I've searched countless times for solutions, and the few that even talk about a black screen issue don't seem to be the one I'm dealing with, and the solutions proposed in those forums either don't work, or don't apply to my situation in the first place. Honestly, after dealing with this for 3 days, I'm just extremely confused and unsure on what to do moving forward. Hopefully somebody has had some experience with this and might know a possible solution. Thanks in advance!

You may find more help for your issue by opening a thread here: Vortex Support Forum.

Also, are you aware that you don't need to launch your game from Vortex in order for your mods to work? Once you have set up your mods with Vortex, simply exit Vortex and play your game.
