Nacoran
Tag and hide and go seek, and not even very good tag and hide and go seek. We live in a world with dragons and magic. Surely kids can have a few better games. How about some archery contests like up at Angi's cabin? Marbles, checkers or chess or Go... basic soccer style kid the ball in the net... fishing with 'who can catch the biggest fish', or some violent old favorites like Red Rover or Whip.Or maybe Braith, being the brat she is uses clairvoyance to find people in hide and seek. What if you could work on your stealth in hide and go seek, your aim/archery in contests... darts at the bar... heck, read your kid a bedtime story, where they pick a random book and we get a handful of different people to voice readings of different books... (you pick a voice for you) or have the kid read it to you. Have kids do chores that actually help, like harvest herbs from the gardens and put them in a chest. Have them bring back gossip for radiant quests. It's good that they run when they see a dragon, but I leveled their wooden swords up passed legendary with my maxed out smithing and some gear and potions. They should at least not run from mudcrabs. Make kids actually fun to be around. What of these could be done in the engine?
HeyYou
I think complicated strategy games would be too much to ask. (chess.....) I could see kids casting invisibility while playing hide and seek. :) I could see braith using magic to find folks. :) (that would be in character for her.....) Or maybe even the option to tell Lars to give her a kiss, so she would stop beating him up...... I *think* kids doing chores would be doable.... there are already AI packages for folks doing gardening...... Though I don't think I would like my kids hanging out in the pubs....... all sorts of bad people in there......
