Fhalkor
There's other Deadpool outfit mods out there. But they're either not the best looking personally, or they don't allow you to wear clothes/armor over them. And it's not a true Deadpool playthrough if I can't wear a pirate hat with my broadsider, or the detective outfit, or the silver shroud costume, or anything over the deadpool outfit. Afterall, it's meant to be like his new preferred layer of skin.So I was wondering, was anyone interested in making a good looking deadpool outfit mod (something like the outfit from the movie or game), that is able to wear anything over it? Thanks! Edited November 12, 2019 by Fhalkor
StormWolf01
Heya Fhalkor. Essentially what you're asking for, is a deadpool themed outfit, that is set as underarmor.Wearables in this game, are applied in layers, which are referred to as Body Slots. There is a total of 30-31 body slots available, for the human(oid) body. https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Body_Slots_usage_for_Fallout_4 It's actually REALLY easy to set up a "suit" as underarmor. It literally takes 30 seconds or less, to change 5-10 values. While I could very easily modify those values on a mod that already has the suit made (Assuming the author allows modification of his work) I myself am not capable of making an entirely new suit. I just don't know anything about making 3d models. So if there's a suit you'd like for me to alter, post a link. But, it has to be something that the author will allow me to alter, or I can't share the work. Not even privately. I respect the work that these folks do, and am grateful for them sharing it. I won't violate their wishes. IF it's a suit that the author doesn't allow to be modified, I will show you what tool you need to download, and give you instructions on how to reset the suit for underarmor FOR YOUR OWN PRIVATE USE. However, in the examples that you gave above, some of those may create issues, called clipping. Some of them have areas where they have specific textures for skin, in which case, that will cover the deadpool suit. And may result in areas where the DP suit pokes through the outter costume.Armor shouldn't be any kind of a problem. Costumes over it, may have issues. They'll still be wearable, but they may not look right. There's not much that can be done about that at all, unless those items were specifically added TO that DP costume. In essence, literally making them a part of the DP suit. Edited November 14, 2019 by StormWolf01

My mod manager isn't working at the moment, but I'd love to know more on what tool to use and how to reset suits to underarmor, for private use only. That'd be perfect! StormWolf01
Heyas Fhalkor- No worries, no problem. The first thing you are going to need to do, if you don't already have it, is download, and install a program called FOedit. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2737You can't install that with NMM or Vortex, you have to do it manually. After you install it, the first time that you will open it, you're gonna get hit with a bunch of "Tips" boxes. Just make sure to uncheck the first one, then spend up to FIVE MINUTES clicking the "next" button. I'm really not exaggerating there, there's a ton of them. Fortunately, you won't have to go thru that again if you uncheck the box. Next, download this esp file that I made for you, of one of the vanilla vault suits, which is already set up as underarmor. There's nothing custom about this file, it's just that the vault suit already has the settings that you need to use, and it will spare you a TON of time, trying to find the vault suit in FOedit. The file is too big for me to attach it here in the post, and I honestly don't wanna post a vanilla file in the downloads section, so this is my first time uploading to google drive, I really hope that it works.Now.... I would not knowingly ever send you or anybody else something harmful or malicious. But NEVER trust something that you download off the internet. Make sure that your antivirus softwares are up to date, and virus scan this file, after you download it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fg7HXpYjpzhroAaycBeYpNTMOwgGqdz2/view?usp=sharing Ok Nexus is being retarded and won't let me upload pics to the post either. So...... download these too.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1skejX96IEoMUADOV4tD8j4-Cd2ny__8W/view?usp=sharinghttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1kd4M29I48TK-kXEH3UUwNXd4MBp1i0uC/view?usp=sharing After you make sure the file is clean, move it into your fallout4 data folder. Now open xedit. (Thats what FOedit is really called, and it's just easier for me to type. It will list EVERY esm, esp, and esl file that you have in your data folder, and ALL of them will be check marked (ticked). You do NOT want to open every single one of them! -- Hold down your Ctrl key (it's in the bottom left corner of your keyboard) and tap the A key. That will select/highlight ALL of them. Single left click one check mark (tick) and that will untick all of them. Now, single left click on a name of a esm/esl/esp file to UNhighlight them all. Now, scroll thru the list and find the file for your deadpool outfit, and the vanilla vaultsuit, tick them both, and click Okay. now open the pic named 2019-11-19 02 31 30aa in the left column of exit, find the deadpool armor. you'll see where it has a listing that says armor click the + next to it and expand that part of the tree. Now, go down and do the same with the vanilla vault suit. Now, hold down the CTRL key again and SINGLE LEFT CLICK the name of the armor in the armor section for the deadpool suit. In the pic, that's highlighted by a target.Do the exact same with the vault suit. Now RIGHT click on one of them and choose Compare Selected (2). If you don't get that option at the top, try selecting them again. That part of it is tricky. Once you've got them both in your screen, look for the area that I've got highlighted in Yellow. The BOD2 Biped Body Template area of the files. THAT'S what we need to copy over from the vault suit, to the deadpool suit. -- Soooooo. In the picture, do you see where I have that green arrow? That's where you want to put your mouse cursor. Once you have your cursor in that blank space, single left click, and hold the mouse button down. Now drag that section straight over, into the same section for the Deadpool armor. Then let go of the mouse button. That should drag and drop all the information from that section of the vault suit, into the deadpool suit. DONE! The suit itself, is now underarmor! Press and hold CTRL and tap your S key. That will open up the save menu. Choose the deadpool esp/esm/esl file to save by putting a tick next to it. Then tell xedit ok. It will save the file. Now close Xedit. Now, we are probably Not completely finished. Because most likely, the main suit does not include the mask. I searched in xedit for about 20 minutes trying to find the sack hoods, which can also be set up this way. So I cannot give you a direct file, to be able to do exactly as you just did, with the costume. However, this mod is set up to make headgear so that you can wear a hat, helmet, or goggles over it. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30550 Once you have that downloaded and dropped in your data folder, open xedit, and open that sackhoods.esp and your deadpool file.Open the second picture.Find the armor listing for the mask. CTRL + Click on it.Find the armor listing for one of the sack hoods. CRTL + CLick on it, right click Compare Selected (2).Repeat what we did with the suit, with the area that I've got highlighted in gray.Once you've got that copied over, hit CTRL + S and save your deadpool file. Now... we are done. If you did it right, and there's no OTHER body parts like gloves or boots to the outfit, you should now be able to wear anything that is set as regular armor, glasses, goggles, hats, helmets, etc on top of the suit. Once you verify it in game, you can now delete the vault suit esp that I sent you, and if you don't want to use it, you can delete the sack hoods esp as well. Cheers! (sorry for the abrupt finale, but now my fingers hurt, hahaha!)
Fhalkor
Haha I could imagine. I haven't gotton the chance to test it out yet, but thanks heaps Storm. I can't wait to check it out.Just wondering though, because you can't normally wear clothes over the vault suit, would this edit allow me to wear things like the silver shroud outfit over the DP suit? StormWolf01
Heyas Fhalkor- LOL well, I know that the instructions seem a bit long. But once you've got it open and once you get the hang of it, it take pretty much just however long it takes for xedit to run. With that vaultsuit esp that I provided, I can copy over those settings in about 3 seconds. (Depending on how many times it takes me to get the compare selected 2 to work, lol). Oh wow. I'd forgotten that the Vault Suit isn't normally set up for underarmor. I've been using a mod called Unified Clothing Overhaul (UCO) for....forever. And it turns most of the vanilla costumes into underarmor. As well as adding in options for VS linings and Legendary slots to everything. (Kinda conflicts with Armorsmith Extended to a degree, so I have to juggle my load order around) Including the vault suit, BOS uniforms, basically anything that is designated as a costume. Costume meaning anything that includes shirt, sleeves, pants, (and or boots n gloves.)As long as the silver shroud costume doesn't take up those slots with the then it will not conflict. If it does, then you'd have to go in, use the drop box for each of those settings, and set them to use the normal one. To open up the drop box option you have to do a search for the silver shroud thru the xedit (damn, I keep typing "exit" hahaha) menu, open it, then scroll down to the body slot settings.Single click it, then single click it again, so that it opens the drop list. Then say if you're working on an arm, select the arm that doesn't have the in front of it. Then save the file after you've changed each of the body slots.Hope this helps :)
