humanbean234
In all seriousness, though, if I had a million dollars, the Army would be offering me an Administrative Discharge Under Honorable Circumstances (Chapter 5, Separation for the Convenience of the Government). It's standard practice to offer them to servicemembers who suddenly inherit a large amount of cash, or win the lottery, or what-have-you. Part of the military's leverage in maintaining discipline is the option to take your pay if you screw up (under the Uniform Code of Military Justice)... a threat that doesn't carry much weight if the servicemember has a massive cash reserve to fall back on... and it's also conducive to good discipline to ensure that servicemember doesn't receive special treatment or undue harassment from fellow servicemembers. That was fairly educational. If I had a million dollars I'd...probably pay some bills and dole the rest out to friends and family. Save myself the trouble of dreaming big.
