alright i have been making texture mods for the past week. its not like I'm running out of ideas, but i want to know what the majority of the people want to have re-textured.

Well personally I would love it if someone dirtied up the face shield on the riot helmet a bit. A little bit of dirt and grime, not too much, just enough to make me believe that I'm actually wearing it during my little outings would make me a happy man. Then again I highly doubt if a majority or even a good deal of people even care about such a small thing so if you would prefer spending your time and efforts on other projects I would completely understand.

 

Also just wanted to thank you for all that you have uploaded to this site. It's nice to see people using their talent to make the game that little bit better.

The Bandanas could use some Retexturing love, maybe a few black, purple and green ones. Same for the headwraps.

 

Oh... and maybe sunglasses with coloured glass ? Green and red comes to mind. The brown rim of the Tortoise Sunglasses would look nicer in black or white too.

FalseEmperor has a good point, the riot face shields should have been laying around for the last 200 years, they are much too clear. Maybe even use alpha to make the edges look nicked up?

The edges being nicked I could understand, but wouldn't you want to keep them clean, at least? Perhaps scratches would make more sense, as you couldn't just clean them off.

for some reason i cant find the riot helmet in the archives. is that exactly what its called or does it go by another name? that would definately help.

Good point but for some reason I would just love a little dust/dirt around the edges especially while still keeping an area clear to look through. I don't have a lot of down time on my travels as I am the type to spend long stints away from the comforts of a town and my home so I would think that the cleaning and general upkeep of my gear would be hindered a little more than those who regularly "check-in" at their home base for trading and R&R. Again it's just something that I personally would like to see and I'm not too sure others would appreciate it as much. Some nicks or scratches would also be very nice but I have no expectations or demands for surlystic to accommodate. Either way I appreciate his openness to suggestions from the community.
