PowderdToastMan Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Like the title says, Im trying to put a new hair from another source on a custom race. In the geck i used to simply find the hair types in the race and added a new one, then selected the mesh and texture. In the creation kit, i do not see the hair selections, nor the ability to add one under my custom race. Can anyone help me with this?
varakz Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 You will find hairs in the section HeadPart. In order to assign them to races you have to use FormLists
nuska Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Yup, you need to have a HeadParts form list entry for your custom race, such as 'HeadPartsMyCustomRace' or preferably 'HeadPartsMyCustomRaceAndVampire'.You need to then create the HeadParts containing the hair mesh and hairline (hairlines are considered extra parts that you add to the main HeadPart) and assign them to the previously created formlist for your race.
