shinelucid
I was trying to find a way to make the movement more smooth and I found acceleration and deceleration rate in the race type but changing it didn't affect anything in game, the character still accelerates and instant stops no matter what values I put in the humanrace type, not sure if the overrides change anything but I added the default one and still nothing changed. can someone explain if there is any relationship between the racemenu and player controls? StormWolf01
Heya ShineLucid! This is an interesting question. I really honestly am not sure. I do know that the character's Scale, affects movement rate. If you're bigger/taller you move faster when walking, running, or sneaking. Opposite if your character is short/smaller. In this case, it also affects your aim model, because your point of view is from a different angle than the game is expecting. Tho that's not related to what you're trying to accomplish. Sorry.I also don't know if there are conditions that can affect your movement rate in the same way that your weight limit can. What I mean there, is that if you modify your carry weight, sometimes you have to do things in game, that affect how much you can carry (like using consumables that change your carry weight) before the new settings will permanently go into effect. Another thing, could be mod conflict. You could have other mods that are affecting those same settings, which are conflicting with the mod that you're trying to build. This is pretty common for conflicts, depending on where you're doing your editing. If you're doing it from the presets, there's a lot of mods that can conflict and over-ride your file. If you can, try to take some screen shots of the file that you're making your edits to. With the changes that you're making to the file. That might help people know what you're working with, and possibly suggest alternatives. This is interesting, I'm interested in seeing what turns up!
