PLEASE HELP! "OBLIVION HAS STOPPED WORKING"

I'm having serious trouble with the Mystic Elf race from Ren's Beauty Pack. No, dont worry, I'm not another one who gets see-through, no hair eyes etc.

 

No, my problem is once I create my mystic elf and begin playing with him after about 20 or so minutes of gameplay my game exits and the message 'oblivion has stopped working' appears on the desktop. It's really bugging me because I managed to actually play as the race with help from you guys, but once I thought everything was fine everytime afer 20mins my game 'stops working'. The thing is , this doesnt happen with other races, just the Mystic Elves and the Ainmhi (which i uninstalled recently). I dont think it interfers with another mod I have. I mean at one point I diabled all other mods except Ren's and when I loaded my savefile before I even came out of the loading screen it exited and I got the frusting 'oblivion has stopped working' message on the desktop.

 

So, Please help me! I am literally DYING to play as a Mystic Elf and these consistent, frustrating crashes which I'm almost certain are releated to Ren's BP and the Mystic Elves (I know so, infact) are preventing me from doing so. I beg of you guys to give me some suggestions or any solve my problem completely. Once again, thank you for your time to read my problem and I strongly hope you can find me a solution.

 

 

P.S I'm using Vista Home Premium, but I've got all the admin and compatibility set so It's not Vista. As I said, the crashes only occur with things related to Ren's Beauty Pack.

hmm i am not really sure whats causing it but you could try getting rid of the mode and downloading it again works for me sometimes hope i can help

You just described perfectly why I don't use Ren's beauty pack. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it is a bad mod it's just that I never could get it to work for me. There are a few mods that I couldn't get to work but then again, I was just starting out trying some mods and I'm sure that it was my installation and not the mods. Just a comment, I hope you find your answer and I'm sure you will. There are some great people in this forum.

I've used rens for a long time with no problems.Are you using any other "glamor" mods I know for a fact that Ren's and BP cause problems when used together. Do you have the latest unofficial and official patches installed?

Are you running SI?, is it patched as well?

what other mods are you using

whats your load order.

I could ask you questions all day long! Please provide more info when you have a problem,makes it easier for everyone to try and help you solve it!

I think it'll be easier if I just uninstall Oblivion and everything else all togther. I'll start again with a few carefully insalled 'essential' mods (i.e. Rens) then add slowly when I get bored. Don't worry, I accendently deleted my main char yesterday anyway, so uninstalling everything isnt problem. I be very neat and tidy with my mods in future (i.e. in correct folders, order, patches etc.)
