Ey All! Hope your doing well. I sure am having fun.

A bit about ma all too familiar story as I'm sure you've heard many times before started two weeks ago. Yes, two weeks ago was my entry to the modding community, haha more like juggling knives for the first time. It was oh so fun. Using a basic guide, and the Vortex manager I followed the steps to the T. With the first 20 mods installed the visual difference was stunning and I was addicted. Downloading a few more mods... all from the most (All time Popular) search results the list grew... and grew... and by weeks end had exceeded 300 mods... I thought oh what fun will I have now Buahahaha!! Tisk Tisk little did I know... I done goofed. The darn thing didn't work... but I had an epiphany from another guide, yes... the solution to this dilemma was LOOT!!! Haha I thought, salvation at last. With great anticipation and delight at my brilliance, LOOT loaded up.... and began to asses, and process, and peer into the convoluted mess of a newbies greed. The results... boggled my untrained mind. Error codes up the wazoo, I was devastated... my anticipation.. shattered. But the addiction.. remained.

Rage ensued and resulted in the complete un-installation of EVERYTHING, 450 gigabytes of data tossed into the waste-bin of failure and a new determination arose, for the addiction had taken over.

Two days later a package arrives, within a new SSD. And the process begins anew. This time with a new guide (NORDIC) and a new Mod manager: MO2 ahh yes, it blew my mind.... by the time I had reached the Followers section... I was once more, yes that's right. You guessed it. Over 300 mods and at 244 esp's... now for the great test. Will it work? SKSE initiates... and in but a few moments wooosh "Ah my child, the forests are a great place to hunt this time of year." Ma frown now a week old began to thaw and in its place a grin emerged. Woot WOOt!!!!!! Success at last!! And the contrast was unprecedented. To believe that after 8 years of Skyrim, this was my first modded game... I shook my head in disbelief.

The adventure had begun, slowly... wait what? Could it be.. oh no.. huhhhhh it was.. FPS was unbearable. It worked but it didn't work... once more the system was purged. (Not to forget this was all done at a time Bethesda updated its systems and discombobulated all the SKSE plugins. What a pain)

So here I am, attempt No. 3

Had great fun last night, with nexus going down for 2 hours at the prime of my re-re-try. hehe hmm fun times. And now, at this very moment I seem to be having troubles with a chicken. Ye, I said a chicken. What a dilemma..

At present I've converted Falskaar Wildlife to x64 but I ran into some error while changing over from ESP to ESL, error reads as follows:

Error saving Falskaar Wildlife.esp.save.2019_11_26_15_22_18: Record [ACHR:02004FFE] (places EncChicken "Chicken" [NPC_:000A91A0] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of AmberCreek04 [CELL:01A1D86B] (in Falskaar "Falskaar" [WRLD:01A1CF42] at -12,-14)) has invalid ObjectID 004FFE for a light module. You will not be able to save this file with ESL flag active

What is this ^?

And, how do I go about resolving this issue?

Ha ha ha I have no idea sorry!!!, But what about starting out with 100 mods to begin with???.

I normally use around 80 mods, And for me it's more than enough to have an amazing experience and lot's of new adventures.

1 : Don't install too many mods that does the same thing.

2 : Only pick 1 player house in each region of the game.

3 : Don't install several major combat, Magic, Alchemy, Monster, Npc overhauls and then add 3 major complete game overhauls on top of that.

4 : make sure to grab all the big new land/quest overhauls that have their own worldspace.

5 : merge your plugins with a bashed patch (So they don't get overwritten).

6 : Cut down on script heavy mods.

A few tips from an level 480 adventurer and proud owner of 12 castles stuffed with weapons, Books and armors (Which made my game crash quite often).

Enter and be welcome, Rob.

Only install a couple of mods at a time. Then play the game to see if they are going to work together. If they don't this will make it easier to figure out the culprit.

Enjoy your stay with us!!
