JamariKastun
I'm running: Intel Core i7-8750 CPUNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design graphics cardIntel UHD Graphics 630 Skyrim Special Edition is unplayable due to lag on vanilla and high setting, I don't know exactly how fast it's running but if I were to guess under 30 FPS, enough to where there is a full second of mouse lag and every movement is floaty as hecc. I thought that it might be using the Intel graphics card, but I set the Nvidia as the graphics card to use in windows settings, and it's still this laggy. HeyYou
Is the game trying to use the Intel Graphics, instead of the Nvidia card?
goranpaa
I think so too. Disable the integrated Intel graphics chip in Bios. Also uninstall the driver for the Intel chip afterwards. Edited November 28, 2019 by goranpaa
JamariKastun
I fixed the issue by using the Nvidia control panel to set the preferred graphics card for SKSE to the NVIDIA card. It's strange, my universal preferred graphics card is the Nvidia card, I don't know why the settings were getting overridden for SKSE.
