Best way to view skyrim

So I am getting a new monitor, and I really want to know which viewing type offers the best visual quality for skyrim.

1. 120hz 2d on S27A950D-27in. Tn panel 2d 1080p 120hz display.

2. Nvidia 3d vision 2 on asus vg278h-27in. Tn panel with 3d, 1080p, 120hz.

3. 60hz 2d on S27A850D-27in. Ips panel 2d 2560x1440p 60hz.

Which of these three options will make skyrim (enhanced with graphical improvement mods) look best?

For Skyrim i would say there is no need for 120hz screens unless you wanted to do 3d, i'd rather have 2560x1440 monitors.

The Catleap monitors for instance are really good. these are S-IPS i won't go into great detail on everything you can search that yourself. :P

Out of the ones you listed i would say S27A850D.

I have a S27A850D and Skyrim looks awesome on it. But obviously, I can't get past 30 or 40 fps at that resolution.

If you have a beast of a computer, and I do mean a beast...

Something like an 8-core CPU overclocked to 4,5 Ghz and a super-duper GPU (something like 2 AMD 7970 3GB in Crossfire).

Then it might be worth exploring the 120hz options.

But if you can't get past 60 fps at 2560x1440, there's not much point to it.

Also, be aware that running Skyrim above 60 fps is known to cause issues (audio/video sync issues, animation bugs, script errors and crashes).

I'm pretty sure I can get past 60 as I run two evga gtx 670 ftws in sli. How bad are these issues? Should I be concerned and do you mind posting a link or something? Is it small, or does it affect the majority?

Also, its Skyrim completely overhauled and modded.

68" TV with a nice comfy recliner leather couch and a gamepad.... I get enough of a computer "office" setup at work.

I see why you would want this, but it doesn't work in my house...
