Thinking about starting a playthrough have mods question

Hey everyone I'm pretty new to Nexus (usually play skyrim) and I had a question, I'm thinking about installing this for the first time and I was hoping someone could recommend some mods that would make the experience more awesome. Maybe some mods that help the functionality of the game or just some great ones you all like. I have it all downloaded already (my daughter wanted it but I figure hey why not me too lol) and that Overhaul?? I think that's it. Anyway just looking for tips from more experienced players.

The Overhaul is a good start, that'll make the game look a lot nicer anyway. As for other mods, I'd suggest playing it without them at least once, play the game as it was intended to be played with just the the Overhaul making things less ugly.

 

If you've come from Skyrim then this would be worth reading http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Oblivion_for_Morrowind_players Morrowind may look like an older Skyrim but there are some important differences.
