BMillis
I've been trying to make a compatibility patch for SkyRe, however, the perk requirements for crafting the item are not saving with the .esp. Every time I reload my .esp the perk is tagged "Invalid". Default perks (Daedric smithing) are working fine, however, the ones I need that are added by SkyRe (crossbow crafting perks) are not working. Any help would be appreciated. steve40
You can't save custom forms or items from one esp into another esp. It's called "mod isolation". SkyRe needs to be changed from an esp to esm by "esmifying". Google the quoted terms.
BMillis
So how do the other compatibility mods work without an .esm file? Will that method not require users to also have the .esm? Thanks for the reply.
Georgiegril
If you haven't already read this, there is a file on how to create compatibility patches for Skyre on the download page (under optional files.)My link
