How to port Oblivion Character to FNV

I really liked Oblivion's MOD character, so I decided to port it to FNV.

But I don't know how to port it

I saw the guide, but the character uses Head06, so it makes no sense

I used a Head06 resource ported to FNV but face shapes are not imported.

I have never made a mod and have used Blender several times

How should I port it?

You can look at the face geometry on the advanced face tab in the Oblivion Contruction Set.

Then write down the slider values. Open the Geck , then match those values there on the advanced face tab.

But first you have to get that facial geometry out of your oblivion save file first , to load it as a preset accessible in the CS ... which I know is possible with Fo3 / FNV save files.

Not sure exactly , but it sounds like you need to create a Race first ... add the Head06 resource to that object. Then an NPC can be assigned that race. And of course you then have to check that NPC as "Is Chargen Face Preset" To be able to pick your Oblivion face geometry.

However ... you can just make a new race , to then select at char creation ...then still just custom set it in the NV char creation screen in game, by matching those slider numbers you copied down from looking in the CS.

The trick is getting the facial geometry slider values out of your save file to then load it in the CS ... not exactly sure how that is done.

Since it looks like Oblivion char creation does not display the slider values like Fo3 & FNV does in game.

I would imagine it is the same process or very similar for Oblivion to Fo3 / FNV.

So try google something along those lines ... face ripper ???
