SpartansNords
Hello! Just wondering with what settings you play with in the graphics option. Do you use FXAA? Do you use some of the settings in the Catalyst Control Center / Nvidia panel or do you just use the Skyrim settings that are detected. I haven't really figured out what runs best yet so some input would be appreciated. I have a AMD 7800 series card btw

I have a AMD 7800 series card btw If you're looking to maximize performance, download the mod linked here http://www.kotaku.com.au/2011/12/mod-boosts-skyrim-performance-by-up-to-40-per-cent-could-be-faster/ Set your settings to lowest, open up advanced options, set textures to high, and double the values for everything in the view distance tab. If you're still lagging after that, you can try borderless windowed mode. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4 If you're still having a lot of lag issues at this point, it's because your computer can't handle it. and no amount of minor FPS tweaks are going to help. And for the record, My game looks very nice with the above settings, You'd have to be a hyper critical graphics fanatic to notice much of a difference between this and the higher settings. AxlRocks
Actually, TESVAL is no longer needed and shouldn't be used post 1.4 because Bethesda has included the exact same optimizations since then, and they work better on top of that. (Patching upon execution < compiling source code with fixes) There's this booster, never heard of it until recently, suppose it works for people considering the endorsements. As for FXAA, I personally would not recommend it over SMAA. SMAA manages to look almost identical to AA and most people report that it's much more performance friendly than in game AA. I get 60FPS as is, so I can't say for sure, but I certainly didn't notice a drop.
Jitansgate
I have Everything Turned Off and at Low. I disabled All Leaves and Pine Needles and used Rainfall FX and Snowfall FX. With Both of these Mods I get around Mid 50 FPS Indoors and Outdoors Click Link: Skyrim Performance PLUS I disabled Indoor Shadows but increased Lighting with this mod.
