Purr4me
Everyone used to post the previous .exe files. Not sure why that has changed. We just need them so f4se will work until it is updated.yeah, but there was a lot more involved too, like getting the game to even cooperate with steam as steam loads, and the game loads, the data was updated on launch so even so, your out of luck. f4se is not shipped with the game it's a mod.If you failed to back up your game, there's nothing anyone can do or will do. The people doing that were caught and the files removed. There's a big write up on subrededit and that was the source.Steam introduced an Anti cheat program and people are now at risk of loosing their games, VA bans soon will start to roll out on steam.Other companies like Ubisoft which distributes fallout 76 has the code embedded into it. Not sure is SSE will be next. It's a serious matter, no Joke.you can not work your way around it any more. Steam must run, the code will find your files and replace them while your running thegame with the older files, next game boot? no game, saves will not load. There was only 1 source and 1 person on the nexus that shared the files from subredit and those have been dealt with. In this community, there are those of us that attempt to diagnose issues with games, if your running things your not supposed to be? then how do we fix what can't be fixed? Back up your old er files, On that point, steam has an authorized roll back instruction that obliterates what your after and then you have what you need. It's more than just 4 files and I'm not telling anyone what they are. You risk your steam account and here continuing to push the issue. StormWolf01
Purr4me- can you please post me some links on what you're talking about, with steam now having access to the game files? I just did a search after reading your post, and I must not be using the right search parameters to find anything about it.So it's clear.... I don't doubt what you're saying. It's not the first time that a company thinks too much of itself and turns it's software into a virus. Which, from what you've just posted, steam is now, by all definition, a version of malware. This is something that I need to see for myself, so that I can come to my own conclusions.

StormWolf01
Hey, appreciate the info! Ugh, sorry I didn't know you were at work tho, but I appreciate it even more!Still in the process of watching the video.I DO remember that steam turned off a LOT of people many years back, by becoming too intrusive. It sounds like they may be about to repeat their own history. Beth is on a downward spiral as well. I guess we will have to see how this goes. It sounds like they may be about to repeat their own history. Beth is on a downward spiral as well. I guess we will have to see how this goes.here on these forums not a few day's ago, there was a user discussion dealing with a Bethesda game issue trying to unload the battle eye software because it was killing the game cold. The advanced search thingy here works kinda, but the normality does not so I gave up trying to back track the threads here.I am unsure of the spelling "Bdaisy" ? and that user was unable to defeat the bug, but he did mention they had a Ubisoft game installed too. that's the source of the program. all this started to take place after the updates to several games purchased on steams systems and the complaints started to flow uncontrollably hard. You read this and it's gets stuck in your mind. Bethesda is not steam, nor vale. But the distributor IS valve. Fallout 76 is NOT a valve game, it is a Ubisoft game built for Bethesda. Using an engine not from Bethesda. It comes with Battleye Embedded. There is no way to create nor save your games and the server maintains your progress, the point of purchase however IS Bethesda. The whole thing is just Nasty. StormWolf01
Yeah, I remember that post that you are talking about where Kanami was trying to get rid of battleye/bdaisy. I was actually just about to try looking that one up again to pass some of this along. (I found their thread about that, and messaged him/her to come take a look at this.)I love how self-righteous that guy is, in the video. He's talking about creating software that invades the KERNEL of an operating system, as if he has every right to do so. Then he talks about how the cheater's computer is his own, he can do whatever he wants with it. !!!!By EVERY SINGLE DEFINITION, Every single one, this software is a virus, a spyware, and a malware. I really appreciate that list that you linked. That's saved for later, and I'll double check that list, before I DL or install any games.I gave kudos for sharing this. Not gonna say anymore, cuz I'm afraid I'm gonna start off on a ranting tirade. I've got the PO'd smoke just POURING outta my ears right now.

I've got the PO'd smoke just POURING outta my ears right now.The whole point was what attempted to point out. I am aware of a great deal, I do not post about what I know for a reason.Reason: it stirs up trouble. Keep this in mind Ok, these things are very old, and just now beginning to show fruition.I deal in repairs, diagnostics and I must maintain a solid base line of the materials I work with. That means every one I must expect to be using legit software and the latest updated programs. If it's not? well now, you might just see the colder side of me. It's not what I want. I want to help those that help them selves but not "CHEAT" things in order to fulfill some "IDEA" Stick to a legit line of operating and we can all get along. Stray outside of those parameters ?It gets a bit chilly. here's an example.https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/8172572-ctd-on-loading-any-save-for-no-reason-at-all-se/page-2&do=findComment&comment=75230303 read the whole thread and see what I deal with. I am a focused person, the link goes to a thread under LE skyrim, so under assumption I did not think twice. The out come was rather wild. But once I discovered the reason things "appeared wrong" / corrupted, I loaded the same file in the SSE MO 2 program and saw what it was. I can do things most cannot. Al I can ask is be upfront with me and anything I send your way will be to your best advantage.
