I am aware of a great deal, I do not post about what I know for a reason.Reason: it stirs up trouble. Keep this in mind Ok, these things are very old, and just now beginning to show fruition.Aye, that it does. But sometimes, trouble is needed. I do remember, a long time ago, when software like this started coming to light, that it was being packaged into the video games. A lot of people really got upset. A lot of people believed that it was beyond the limits of what companies should do, and believed that it was an invasion of their private property. I do also remember a long time ago that people swore they'd never use steam again.Don't remember the name of what it was that was being distributed back then. I do remember tho that it didn't limit itself to just games that were running. Some users complained that it was interfering with windows, and some of the software that was running under it. I think the issue was DLL blacklisting. It would see something that it didn't recognize, and try to shut it down. Loooong time ago, I don't remember for sure.I'm afraid I'm really not familiar with skyrim. So I'm not sure how hard it is to clean a savegame from it. I know that most of the tools for working with Fallout4 savegames don't work. Or they're dangerous to use, if a person doesn't know what they're doing.I haven't touched a beth game in over a decade. Not since I was hooked on Morrowind Elder Scrolls. Roommate of mine got me hooked on FO4 on his PS4 tho. And to be honest, since all the stuff with 76, and now this stuff with this game.... really thinking about just telling Beth to flock off, for another 10+ years. And I'll just go back to my MMORPG's.Heh, yeah of true skill and knowledge are definitely people to be wary of, and stay on the right side of. In truth! So, since we have really derailed this thread....I'm left wondering. Since the thread is a violation of the site rules, are we gonna get in trouble for derailing it? Purr4me Posted December 5, 2019 Share Posted December 5, 2019 Not as long as the topic stays away from the OP question.Sucurom, star something ,and a few others ,for instance, the 2nd CD/dvd of fallout 3 GOTY will not run on windows 10 and if placed into the rom, can damage the reader.If people could just understand, there are reasons why the rules are there to begin with.Not Just the site rules, but the rules of software design, and their perspective changes. I've posted already once how to update current mods you may have installed.Or download something you might be interested. If your going to mod your games, then do it, learn how it's done. Don't rely on others to do it for you.Game validity is not a norm, it's constantly changing. this game requires the updated version from Bethesda launcher for the creation kit to be installed.you load 1 mod at a time, the mods you want "less f4se types" because there are things still in the works that prevent power ups to be functional in the new code. no need to roll back, I already proved that. The persons saved game file was resurrected by me once I knew it was for sse version of the game, as mine-was the latest upgraded version that I see every one complains about. an older saved game written in the older code that absolutely would not run. now it does.I've done the exact same thing to this game. If your familiar with TTW ? that's 2 games converted to the newer engine, VIA programing by Roy.in that situation, not all mods will be compatible with the arrangements.Not everyone knows it or understands how things work. Skyrim "LE" mods can be ran in SSE version if you know how to convert them in the correct kit's. There are 2 creation kit's.LE uses the one from steams tools software distribution and is maintained and kept updated there. SSE's kit come only from Bethesda's web site and is auto detected. Nothing else will work.Tools we use xedit, to change the code in the header of a LE plugin first, then it's loaded into the beth version of the kit and simply saved.Bam updated mod. some mods require a bit more editing though.you can not go backwards. only forward.----look at it in this way. as you build your game progress, it grows as it stores more information. I want you to think of the saved game file as a data base, or say an excel program , as you enter more and more information, an algorithm will change the outcome of the results. Or as you build a plugin in the geck or in an external tool like xedit .it grows.Once built, and saved you can not go back in a start cutting and cutting content. there are too many self references contained with in it for it to be valid.the only tool that can partially complete the code correctly is the kit's. there is NO reason anyone needs to roll back the software, or fight against it. you must GO forward as with all progress, always moving forward. Ok, in fallout 4---this is how you fix your saved games files in order for it to load in new updated formats.you load just the main games files and do NOT have any mods installed. load in game hard save. go to another save if you wish.OR now enable all your plugins "AFTER" you load them into the kits and hard save them there. does not work with f4se mods. only vanilla content.you have say 400 mods ! lol, I wish you luck.you have maybe a few mods ---say 30 to 50? get started modding, all of the work you think is hard, well that's part of modding.You want the toy's earn them.
