I noticed this wierd glitch, after i played with some enb configurations.

Deinstalling all enb did not solve the proplem.

Any idea what might cause this?

As you can see it only appears on stuff close to me, and only in 3rd person.

Thankfull for any help!

I am having this bug too. For the most part I ignore it, but because someone else brought it up, it caught my interest. The only mods you and I share are the guard speech overhaul and the headtracking, but I downloaded headtracking after having this problem so it definitely isn't that one. That leaves Guard SPeech Overhaul, but that's weird and doesn't make much sense. Hmmmm....

After some further tries to get to the roots of the problem, I fear that it's as simple as a bug caused by a single mod.

First of all, It only appears on a single character, other characters are fine.

Secondly, I was able to get rid of the glow briefly, when i healed myself from vampirisim ( which I believed might have caused the problem) and, after I turned back into a vampire via Serana, the bug was briefly gone.

As soon as I left the cell I was in, it was back again. :(

StefanBuczala, do you use Belua Sanguinare? I was a mod i deinstalled a while ago and thus is not in my LO.

No I do not. I also do not have Dawnguard. It seems weird that we would have the same bug, and not share the same mods. I myself have uninstalled every mod and then reinstalled them one at a time, and I still had the glow. It is possible that it might not be from a mod. It might just be a rare bug.

Yesterday I was all over google looking up random keywords on the subject. I am sad to say that no one knows what causes it or how to fix it yet.

Hey guys, I got this issue too.

I installed plenty of mods, even before I downloaded Dawnguard.

I believe it occured some time after I chose to become a vampire by Serena.

But I'm not really certain 'cause I recognized this weird blue glow somewhat later on the game.

I read abut active visual effects from creatures in a different forum.

Figure out what kind of enemy FX you've got spewing out of you. For the sake of argument, I'm going with the Spriggan here.

Open the console. Type, (leaving out the < >) . This will bring up a list of all the miscellaneous variables associated with the Spriggan. For a creature with a multi-word name, you'll need to use quotes (e.g. ).

Using Page Up and Page Down on your keyboard, navigate up this list until you find the variables staring with SPEL: . The ones that cause the glitch seem to be called either abilities or FX. So in this example, we see there's one saying "SPEL: (0009AA38) 'Spriggan Abilities' ".

We're going to add this ability to our character, and then remove it. (The adding may not actually be necessary, but I'm including it just in case). In the console, type . A message will pop up on screen saying something like "Spriggan Abilities added". If you look in your active effects in the magic menu at this point, you'll see a spell of that name.

Now to remove the effect. In the console, type . Again, a message will appear on screen confirming this if it's worked.

Exit the console and check your character. If you got the correct enemy FX, you should have successfully fixed the glitch. If it hasn't worked, you've probably got the wrong one; try a different one. For example, if the Dwarven centurion code doesn't work, try the one for the Dwarven spider. Also, some creatures have multiple visual FX; if you've got one of these, add and remove them one by one until you get the right one.

Maybe this is also an effect?! But which one?

That is a possibility, but I've never seen an NPC that had this "ability". It could be plausible however, because it only effect one of my saves, meaning it is definitely not related to mods.

Same here, my other two characters haven't such issues.

But neither of them met a legendary dragon before. I think it's shout to drain magica/stamina and decrease armor, might caused the glitch.

Cause I can't imagine any creatures and/or NPC's providing such skills with this visual effect.

Rather proof me wrong though. If you have any clue of fixing this weird bug.

At least it isn't as annoying as some other glitches, but somehow inconvenient.
