ghosu
Hello I guess i could manage that myself by reverse engineering the soulstone mechanism or maybe the usage of poison but it would help if someone has a better idea how to implement this feature. For example the player uses 1x gunpowder and this gives the rifle the ability to shoot 30 times (in combination with ammo). When it's depleated you can't shoot any more and have to recharge. My rifle is based on the crossbow.Input would save some time so i can keep on modeling, thx ;) greetings Edited October 31, 2012 by ghosu

JanusForbeare
Ah np, i just added it to the recipe for the bullets...much easier :D That makes sense to me. Carrying powder and balls separately was a very early system that didn't stay in fashion for long - paper cartridges (in which both ball and powder were packaged together in a paper shell) were designed shortly after the use of firearms became widespread. It stands to reason that someone in Tamriel would have come up with that design. Looking forwards to PF, by the way.
ghosu
Haha, jeah...i just posted on my WIP thread 'bout paper cartridges filled with musket ball and powder. I can already hear people b*tching around when if i release the mod "Paper to craft musket balls?!?! RLY?" :D
JanusForbeare
Heh, yeah, that's more than likely. No harm in hitting them with a little history lesson, though! :) Who said mods couldn't be entertaining AND educational?
