Just Got F:NV, and had some questions

Hello!

I just bought F:NV UE for PC, and have made my character and I am in the middle of doing some tutorials. I have a questions though. Are there any high resolution weapon textures? All my settings are maxed out, at the highest screen resolution. But, all the weapons look really ugly, especially when in iron sight mode. Any help or references to mods to fix this will be appreciated.

Hi,

the best weapon retextures come with this mod Weapon Retexture Project

EVE also has some nice retextures, mainly of energy weapons.

For a bigger texture overhaul you can try NMC's texture pack

For some very helpful video tutorials made by Gopher on texture modding you can check these links:

Thanks for the warning Jim! I'm fairly certain my system can handle at least a couple of the texture mods without too much trouble. I'm able to max out Crysis 1 and BFBC2, and NV doesn't look too good to begin with. Here's my specs:

i7 2600 (3.4GHz-3.8GHz.)

ATI Radeon 5770 1GB GDDR5

8GB 1333MHz. RAM

Anyway, I have another question, I saw the Blackout ENB mod on the Nexus, and was interested to try it out, as it looked amazing! This led me to install the Invalidation thing, and I activated it, and it works fine. Now for Blackout ENB, I needed the Project Reality mod. I have that mod downloaded and extracted in its own folder. So, how do I apply this into the Data folder of New Vegas? Do I just drag the whole "F3NV Project Reality MkIv5-1HDR-42180-MkIv5-1HDR" folder into the Data folder of Fallout New Vegas?

Thanks for all the help!
