NewYears1978
Long ago I made some weight changes of my own on some items and I know with the editor (the Fallout what) that we all used before the CK allowed you to batch edit (select multiple items and edit all at once a value like weight) but in the CK this doesn't seem to work. Is there a way I am missing or do I have to use old editor? Thanks in advance..I tried searching but no luck.
NewYears1978
Of all the modders out there noone knows this? I know I did this before in FOMM, but I have been told using FOMM for mods can cause issues....but am dumbfounded that there is no batch edit in the CK. Why? NoAardvarksAllowed
I agree that the CK should have a batch edit function. It's so obviously useful and would have been very easy for Beth to include. In the past I have used SkyEdit just for that functionality. It hasn't been developed (to my knowledge) since the pre-CK days, however, and I haven't used it for a long time, so I have no idea if it still plays nice with the more recent versions of the game. If you need to change a very large amount of entries it still may be worth looking into, but be sure you back everything (both esps and save games) up and test your changes thoroughly before you continue playing. It seems like something as simple as changing item weights shouldn't give you trouble, but who knows? Better safe than sorry.

Earlier I did use Skyedit and it seems to work fine..but I am still trying to find a way to do it in the CK just for peace of mind. Messing with macro programs right now but it's still tedius that way.
jack013
i'd be quite happy if you could just edit multiple things without all the 'are you sure you edited that on purpose' 'double checking that you want this to change, bro', each time, then restarting ck to find half the links are connected to something else now... kekeke. scrivener07
This is good for doing a few batch edits to references but doesnt work on base forms. http://www.creationkit.com/Batch_Assignment Outside of the ck I think TES5Edit is the perfect tool for what your trying to do.
