Please Help. Every time i start a new game, it goes through the cinematic (i skip) and immediate crash. I have completely uninstalled the game 4 times now (deleted everything having to do with fallout new vegas). unchecked all the DLC so it only loads the main falloutnv.esm. i've tried running in compatablity mode (all of them), tried creating a new user on the computer specifically to run the game (on bethesda's request), i have admin rights, there are no mods. help!

on a side note, Skyrim runs beautifully, and Fallout 3 crashes on new game as well.

I included my directX diagnostic and some various crash reports.

Thanks in advance

Does it ONLY crash on new games? What I mean is, can you load a save game (Outside the starting areas, preferably) and play, or does it always blow up once the game engine loads, whether it's a brand new game or a previous save?

unfortunately in the course of deleting everything i deleted all my saved games...

and i do have ffdshow codec pack... how do i make an exception for it?

edit: okay i found out how to make an exception for ffdshow, i already had one for fallout3, but i added one for FONV and nothing. (sorry for late reply)

Try grabbing a save from Nexus, or I'd be willing to make a vanilla one.
