vardath
Dreugh, Sload, Argonian, Vampire cities and villages entirely under the ocean, several completely submerged dungeons to explore with full 3d mapping (like the levitation from Morrowind as that's what you're essentially doing) and huge with lots of little tunnels. If possible, recreate underwater combat to go with this/these mod/s, if not possible don't include combat, just tons of interesting interactive npc's to talk to in their kingdoms, maybe allow them to visit land kingdoms once in a while for supplies. Have fish farming areas and a completely new list of underwater plants and ingredients. Use imagination and have fun. My main point is, completely submerged, all the time, so water breathing is essential.
huntsman2310
...Do you realize how utterly massive doing this would be?
vardath
Yes. I know it would take ages, but there's guys out there creating tons of land villages, releasing one every few weeks, I'm sure someone could do this. Even if several locations were created separately, a small underwater village here, a cave there, then compiled into a single mod in a few months. Issa 5
Those guys are typically creating their own visions, projects that they are extremely passionate about-that's the reason they invest so much time into them. I wish you luck, but I doubt you'll find someone who is willing to undertake such a massive task.
ArgintSilver
I was looking at Solitude's sewer covers(non accessible) and I was thinking that it could be a nice addition of an under-city hideout for vampires
matortheeternal
I think this is cool. Only problem: that water is really friggin cold. How the hell are you going to survive in it? Also, Skyrim doesn't allow you to fight things underwater... currently. :/
zaty1
Haven't tinkered around too much with anything Skyrim related, or the CK even - but an alternative could be the illusion of being underwater. I mean who really swims with 100lbs of armor on them anyways. Build some city/dungeons, apply some kind of modifier to the entire area that gives you blurry vision / underwater tint. Maybe attach some kind of quest needed for an artifact/key that allows you entrance without instantly killing you (like breathing underwater). Or even areas similar to Uqua from Everquest (simply entering the zone gave you like -300 all stats. You had to manage to kill some trash mobs near the start hoping a random idol would drop that you equip'd to return your stats (which would disappear again if you died) It has been awhile since I played in the GECK, but I'm pretty sure something could be made similar to radioactive areas/etc. And now that I've posted this, I kind of like my ideas enough to look into making this my first project. Throw in some locked gates, requiring more "random" drops, or quest requirements to leave/return - artificially making the dungeon a crawl to get through since it wouldn't be possible to complete it in 1 go. Get some rooms with air pockets in them, that allow placement of pools/tunnels that can contain actual water and put some slaughterfish in those. Wouldn't be a totally underwater dungeon, but with the right tweaking and layouts, it could feel pretty authentic. vardath
If you can do this (create the illusion of being underwater) while at the same time allowing for full levitation (swimming) I'm all for it.
