Category and rename mods

Hi

 

So I renamed a bunch of mods and added them to new categories. However after I uninstalled them all those changes disappeared. I know that I can't rename a mod unless it is installed but being able to have it not erase changes would be cool. I should have realized that if we are unable to rename the mod if it was uninstalled that uninstalling it would undo the renaming but I didn't and from an organization standpoint I would have done it differently if I had known that to be the case.

It's perfectly safe. Just never rename the esp or assets unless you know what you're doing. I change my MO2 mod names all the time on the left pane.
