teiselaise Posted December 15, 2019 Share Posted December 15, 2019 (edited) I am trying to make a rune spell, that does not use a texture from vanilla runes. I thought this would be easy, since changing the rune texture, seemed to work perfectly. But i can't figure out how to make a new rune with a new texture. The only graphical part of the rune magic effect that is unique is the projectile, but i couldn't find the texture reference when looking through it in nifskope. Im pretty new to all this so i might just be missing something. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks. cumbrianlad Posted December 23, 2019 Share Posted December 23, 2019 The actual runes are decals, so DecalRuneFrost, DecalRuneFire etcetera. That's where the textures are applied. The actual textures are listed as Effects\RuneFrost01.dds, Effects\RuneFrost01_n.dds and the like. Is that what you need?
