gob2
Hi. I was wondering if someone more savvy than me could explain the recent changes in the latest update. Specifically, I'd like to know more about the forms changes and why this might conflict with earlier versions. I'm still on 1.9.4, which admittedly may not be the brightest decision on my part. That being said, if the newest update makes newer mods incompatible, I'd like to know why if possible. Thanks for your time. StormWolf01
Heyas Gob. By default, no.... your game will not run any mods produced for the newer game.I actually Just got done making a post about it here. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/8239113-creation-kit-doesnt-load-fallout4esm/&do=findComment&comment=75748773Theres a link in that game (game??? that's supposed to be "thread" sorry!) to a mod that is "Supposed" to make older games bypass the new header check. However, I really have no idea if that will work with a game running that low of a version number. Also something that I want to point out. The newer version is intended to run a lot more of the ESL files. IE- Creation Club Content crud. Versions 130, 138, and now 162 have ALL been about trying to sell more CC crud, and expanding the limit on the ESL files. Your older game may not be able to handle too much of it. So fair warning, kinda keep as little of those type of files (ESL) to a minimum, if you can.Hope this helps.Cheers!-Storm Edited December 17, 2019 by StormWolf01
