Drazhar753
So as the title says, the Ithaca Shotgun doesn't want to fire when my character crouches and then holds right click. So, it fires when I'm standing up, and also fires when I'm aiming and standing up. When I crouch and fire, it works but from third person my character uses the standing up animation to fire (while crouching) so that's already a problem. And then when I aim, it just doesn't fire and won't fire at all unless I switch weapons. After this happens, if I take a look from third person my character is also holding the shotgun in 1 hand as if he's not holding anything while crouching that is. I also have the RH ironsights FWE bridge mod, so I'm not sure what could be causing this issue though, I've had a look in the meshes folder and looked at the _male and 1st person animation files for attacking, but I'm not really sure what I'm doing and don't want to just start deleting files in hopes it'll work. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
Domongart
I just recently came across this bug myself. Managed to fix it after editing the attack animation used by the Ithaca.Using FO3 Edit (http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/637)Navigate to your FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm --> Weapons --> Ithaca Model 37 Pump-Action Shotgun (FormID = 0E000A74)Change the Attack animation from Attack7 to AttackLeft.Oh, you'll notice that there are two columns of entries. One for the FWE esm, and one for the RH Bridge. In my file I adjusted the RH Bridge to match the FWE. Either way, just make sure no entries are Attack7 :) My guess is that the problem is with the Attack7 animation, all the other shotguns use AttackLeft or AttackRight.
