I've been having a problem with adding new meshes to my mods since the CK update. I keep my player resource meshes in a different drive, mostly to save space. I used to be able to drag a mesh from D drive over to my Skyrim data folder in C drive, load it up in the CK and then drag and drop it in the render window. Now if I do that the mesh won't work, I get the red question mark. What I have to do now is load the mesh in the CK, as I use to, but now I have to exit the CK and restart it before dragging the new mesh into the render window. This is a tad tedious. Anyone know why this is happening now?

Hey, it's lucky I noticed this just now otherwise I would have thought I've been having some rare bug... but it seems you're having the same issue as me since the Creation Kit update. I really hope someone finds out a solution to this as it is, as you say, very tedious. :wallbash:

Maybe you have to edit the file paths in your SkyrimEditorPrefs.ini, it may have been overwritten by the update.

That could be the problem Steve but to be honest I have no clue what to change in the ini.

Thanks throttlekitty. I had posted on the Bethesda forums as well and some kind soul told me about F5 there. F5 does work for this issue. Apparently there are a few people experiencing this.
