hoofhearted4
haha nothing too fancy. though the corsair k90 does look sweet all lit up. and i think my monitor is beautiful, but thats not saying much coming from a laptop lol. as for the inside of my rig, its an absolute mess. ill tidy it up when i buy a GPU. need to buy an 8pin extension for the CPU because it doesnt quite reach if i route the cable behind. the Arc Midi comes with a little PCI slot fan controller for up to 3 fans (and the case comes with 3) and i hooked them to that just for fun, but i find it useless. as i cant really get to the knob in the back of the case if i wanted to control the fans. and even on high they arent loud anyways. that and i dont think the front fan cable would be long enough to reach it if i wanted to route the cable behind. i think ill just stick the fans right to the motherboard when i go in and straighten everything out. also had to go and buy a couple more SATA cables as my mobo only came with 2 and i need 3 (SSD, HDD, Optical). though its a good thing Optical Drives dont benefit from SATA III as the SATA cables that came with the mobo (and the ones im buying for that matter) have little clips on them, and when you plug them into the SATA 6.0gb/s slots on the mobo, the little clips make it so you can only use two of the four slots, because the clips get in the way of the other two. meaning (oh no!) i have to hook my Optical to a SATA 3.0gb/s port [/sarcasm] but yea. as a note, dont buy SATA cables with the little clips if you actually intend to use all/most of your SATA slots on your mobo, anyways, as i said, i cant wait to get a GPU (probably a 7950) and start throwing some games and high/ultra settings at it. kalikka
If you end up with 7950, make sure it comes with the never settle bundle (far cry3 + hitman + sleepingdogs + 20% off from moh:wf). Been testing on how to make the mobo virtu mvp work with my r7950wf, had some errors before.
