ub3rman123
For some reason, after about 10 posts, a help request tends to dry up and I don't know how to get the spring of info running again, so I think I might as well jam up the forums with a new topic.I have a few questions to help with my castle mod, Deathcrag Citadel..1. For some reason, there seems to be an invisible wall every few yards inside my mausoleum. I'm using the Barabus Crypt Resource for it. Looked around it for anything that might be in the way, but nothing in sight.2. There's a resurrection spell tome in the Necromancy chamber, along with a few corpses. Is it a bug or can you simply not resurrect skeletons & zombies that are premade to be dead? I also placed a few DarkGuardians (live) it didn't work on them either (when stabbed).3. When placing dead zombie corpses, they seemed to just float in midair in the spot they were placed instead of falling to the floor dead like they're supposed to, unless zap 'em with a spell/arrow.4. I placed a few zombies from Xaselm (SI), that're supposed to come back to life when the PC comes near, but instead they just have full health and lie there on the floor like the dead zombies are supposed to do.5. I added some AI for the guardsman to patrol along the bridge, and when I played Oblivion to see how he was doing, he was just standing there beside his horse. Then came the weird part. A pair of Drothmeri Soldiers (Razor) came up and got killed by some guardsmen. A few hours later, a pile of guardsmen from the other cities came (10 or so, and my character didn't have a bounty). A couple imperial. several Chorrol and Skingrad, Leyawiin, a palace guard, and even a guy from Anvil! (My castle's located near Hame, far to the east, so it's kinda odd for him to come all that way..) I'm also thinking I might wanna keep this bug, whatever it is. It'd be fun to slaughter a bunch of guards in front of your castle.6. Does anyone know any evil-looking statues for the Cathedral and for exterior decoration (vanilla Oblivion or modder's resource)? And not the Daedric statues, at least not with the vanilla skin. Too pasty. Thanks to anyone who read through that mess,-Sal(Say, how do you add a sig? I'm getting tired of adding '-Sal' after every post.)

I'm getting tired of adding '-Sal' after every post.)  1. There might be a glitch with the collision geometry. To see if it is or not, when the CS is open hitting F4 will show collision geometry on objects. If any of the reds lines are sticking up then that's the problem. Other than that, the only thing I can think of is collision boxes but those would be obvious in the CS.... 2. Never used any resurrection spells so I can't help you with that one. 3. When placing them in the CS, select the dead actor and click on Run Havok Sim (it's next to the pathgrid button). That'll run Havok on all selected objects/actors. You can then hold Alt+Ctrl (I think) and click and drag on the limbs and such to position them. 4. Again, I don't have experience with brining back actors or creatures from the dead. 5. Make sure you have pathgrids set up, if not then the NPC can't move because there's nothing in the game telling them that they CAN move. As for the over zealous guards, I have no idea but it must be pretty hilarious to watch. 6. Nope, but I can do some looking and see what I pull up.  Hope some of this helps, it's not much but maybe it'll get you started.
ub3rman123
Okay, I'll try those out soon as the CS is done loading.
ub3rman123
Just tried out the Run Havok SIm thing. Hilarity to watch a pile of zombies fall over in slow motion. :mage: As for the invisible boxes, just turned it on and looked around, for some reason a few objects (An overturned coffin, a mummy) had a ridiculously messed up box around them. Thank you! Say, did anyone else using using the Barabus Crypt resource have giant collision boxes on items Coffins 2 & 3, as well as on mummies and the borken urn? ub3rman123
Another question.. I'm building the mail hall as a circle with an inner ring and an outer ring. For the outer ring, can anyone think of a ring-shaped room/hall piece? I tried the Oblivion Citadel part, but the edge is too small to fit a door, as well as the Imperial Palace hall, which has some ugly Empire symbols on the floor.
