llloyd
So. I ground my Enchanting skill up pretty high. I disenchanted something with a fortify destruction / magicka regen. No matter what soul gem I use, the regen is always 10%, only the cost of destruction spells goes down. So I found another bit of armor with a higher regen rate. So I go to disenchant that and, nope, denied, already know that enchantment. Yes, I know one with a 10% regen rate, I want a higher regen rate, so, how do I get rid of the 10% regen rate enchantment for the one with 100% regen rate? You push your enchanting up the rest of the way to 100. You then take the perk that allows you to place two enchantments on an item. Then you enchant your item with destruction and magicka regeneration separately (I currently have such an item). In addition, unless you are constitutionally opposed to going to Solstheim, you go to Kolbjorn Barrow and collect the relics of Ahzidal (if you haven't done it before be warned - you need to take money with you each time you go). That allows an additional 10% bump in your enchanring (up to 110) which makes those items even more powerful.
llloyd
Really? As I disenchanted something with both enchantments on it at once but stuck with only being able to up half of it to higher and not the other. Ok, let me go find a bunch more stuff to disenchant. llloyd
Ok, that's frustrating. I am trying to recreate the Arch Mage Robes, in spirit (focused on destruction), onto Vampire Armor. With 100% enchanting and a black soul gem with a grand soul I can only push Fortify Magicka Regen up to 83%, not the 150% I'm aiming for. O.o How do I push this higher? Unless I need to grind Enchanting up to something re-donk-ulous like 200 or something. O.o On the plus side I can get Fortify Destruct up to 33%, higher than the default highest of 25% found on random enchanted armor. But I just can't get the Magika Regen to boost up to 100% or higher. >.<
MFitz56
You may have to create your item in the Creation Kit.
