MoanLoan
Hello there, i've been playing for a week straight for now, and i tried so many enb's, and it kinda changed my SkyrimPrefs.ini A LOT, (or at least I have changed, and i don't remember which settings.) so i just proceeded to deleted the INI files on my Documents and opened SkyrimLauncher.exe to create new ini files, and it did not! Instead, the game gave me the warning "Unable to find an INI file, Please reinstall Skyrim." and i was like, s#*!. Yep, my mods are gone, the "Data Files" section of my Launcher is greyed out and the max resolution is 800x600. Note that i installed ALL MY MODS from Vortex. I've made a copy of my INI files on my desktop before deleting them, just in case s#*! like this happens. I copied them back and it's still no use. There are so many mods that i can't download again, it's a huge pain. Can someone help me? I don't even know what went wrong. Now my character is bald and eyeless, SkyUI is not present like every other mod.LOOT sees all my mods, Vortex sees all my mods and calls them "Installed and Enabled". It's just Skyrim that doesn't sees or reads them.I've uninstalled every ENB component, still no use.My specs:Nvidia GT1030Intel i3 71004GB DDR3 RamI also opened Skyrim.exe before SkyrimLauncher.exe to force the game to create new INI files, it opened but my SkyrimLauncher still errors the same way. (It opened at 800x600 resolution.) Please, help me!
Guest deleted34304850
not sure what any of this has to do with vortex - you may get better, more specialised help if you get a mod to move this post to the skyrim forums.I just reported this post to the mods and asked them to move it for you. hopefully you get an answer to your woes. BlackRampage
You could try verifying integrity of local game files: Open Steam > Right-click on Skryim > Properties > Local Files tab > Verify integrity of game files.
MoanLoan
You could try verifying integrity of local game files: Open Steam > Right-click on Skryim > Properties > Local Files tab > Verify integrity of game files.Well, i tried that too, Steam found 4 files that were missing and installed them. Problem still persisted. However, i solved the problem by disabling and enabling all the mods by hand in Vortex. That did the trick for me. I just don't have any idea why deleting SkyrimPrefs.ini messed up with my mods. bleh. Thanks for replying.
