Sallyo Posted December 27, 2019 Share Posted December 27, 2019 New Pc and decisions to make!! I need help : ...(Hello and Help help! Thank you for reading this. You are great people here. I started my skyrm game Long Long ago on cd. I have then reinstalled skyrm a couple of times via steam. I just got a new pc and funny thing is.. I was able to load up my last save!! Sad thing is.. ALl my mods are gone. I still have them, and I think I will need to reupload them cause my game is whacked and everything is gone.This means I will probably have to re upload them. ( Will I ??)Even my avatar was bald and had that nasty speckled skin. I almost screamed!Last I knew.. they were trying to get people to stop using the nexus mod uploader.. I dont know what to use to make sure the mods install correctly.. even with an uploader.. you still get those yellow triangles sometimes and the fighting just sux...So if there is anything I can do to bring my mods back without having to reupload over 100 of them.. or if I need to do this.. what program should I use? is mod organizer even still around? DId the nexus game amanger survive? I need updateing fast.. this is going to take forever..A lot of these mods came from other sources not just here or steam. Can you imagine the hours its going to take to try to figure out which ones are on steam and which ones arnt the search button kinda sux. Thank you all for your helo. DoctorKaizeld Posted December 27, 2019 Share Posted December 27, 2019 you should use Vortex to download and install your mods, also I highly doubt you will be able to recover your save game and will have to start over. Sallyo Posted December 28, 2019 Author Share Posted December 28, 2019 Thank you Doctor Kaiz^^ Whats funny is that my saved games are all there. Just all the mods including race menu is not.. I will look into vortex. I guess I can google Vortex game mod manager and hopefully find it. Ill try to get back to this thread once all is pretty much back to the way it was or as close to it and see if those saves are acting right. I had a ton of quests I never did that are still there.
